“2008”
Well I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and soon
Mother Nature will take a turn for some different weather.
With that I will be back to
writing and recording the next release that was put on hold
do to other obligations.
I will be working on two
different projects, but “Where From Here” will be my main
focus with a planned tracking of November.
The Salute Iowa Heroes
Benefit Concert with TSO members Kelly Keeling, Andrew Ross,
Maxx Mann was a great event for a wonderful cause and
joining them was Corky McClellen of Baton Rouge, and Marty
Paris of Skulls/Paris-Keeling. I would also like to thank
local rockers “MORE>Than>this” for kicking the event off
with a wonderful show.
It was a night to remember.
I’m also currently working
on the details for a small tour this late winter, early
spring and will confirm that down the road, for the progress
of the next release will have a lot to do with that.
Keep checking for updates here or on myspace.

OLD
NEWS
All
recording is complete for the memorial Cd
“For You” and I will be heading
to Cathouse Studios in Sioux Falls, S.D with my buddy Rob Haspels to
do the mixing and mastering. There we will get to work
beside engineer, Mike Dresh.
I must say that ol Mother Nature
sure has put a burden on this project with many session
cancellations, which took it’s toll on me and everyone who
was helping in this.
I want to thank all of you for
your patience and flexibility for I know there was a lot of
sacrificing to make up lost time.
The goodness to it all though is
there will be a product ready for pressing around mid
February .
12/07
Well I hope everyone had a
wonderful Thanksgiving and are preparing themselves for the
Christmas/New Years Holiday Season.
The
Memorial Cd for my Fallen Comrade Scott. M Carney is coming
along nicely with guitar’s and vocals, strings and keys all
being completed Marcus Peterson has been doing a awesome job
on helping me in bring my visions to life both musically
and production wise.
Rob Haspels will be coming in to
do Bass next week on the 18th and then it should
just be adding the drums tracks being done by Doug Beary,
then mixing. In January or early February I will be taking a
trip to Cathouse studios in Sioux Falls S.D where Mike Dresh
will put his crafty engineering to work in Mastering the
product.
This may all be put off by a
month for I may have a guest producer help me out on this
project.
To read more on this
project, you can look at the “old news”
Otherwise, I wish you all
the best for a safe and glorious holiday season.
Old News
Hope
every had a wonderful summer, mine was busy between writing
music, attending a few shows and a Iowa Rock n Roll
Induction ceremony for one great friend of mine and a
wonderful guitarist, Keith Goins.
Keith played the legendary band
“Smoke Ring” which later in the early 70’s turned to MSFUNK
in which Tommy Shaw joined in before later being called for
Styx.
I
recently had to say goodbye to my best friend Labor Day
Weekend.
His name was Scott M Carney and
he was a Master Sergeant in the Iowa Army National Guard.
He died while serving his
country in Afghanistan.
I ask that you pray for his
family.
After speaking with Kelly
Keeling, I was informed that the Tran-Siberian Orchestra
will be dedicating and Honoring Scott at their 13 December
2007 performance at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines
Iowa.
I’d
like to personally thank TSO, and Kelly for taking the time
to personally call and speak to Mrs. Carney.
It will be a great night and
hope that for those of you who can attend, you will.
I will
be taking some time off my full length CD to write a 5 song
acoustic dedication Cd for my friend Scott in which all
proceeds, sales, will go to Scotts two twin boys College
Fund.
You can make donations at any
Bank of America and it’s under the Jacob and Justin Carney
College Fund. I will be posting as soon as this project is
completed.
Estimated to be out by
Christmas. Thank you.
I’ve
been very busy doing a lot of rough track recording with
Marcus Peterson and working on different directions with all
my songs.
Robert Haspels the Bass Player
I’ll be working with and great friend, moved into my estates
a month ago and we’ve put together a nice little recording
studio downstairs.
The recording of the next CD
will be continuing throughout the summer.
Meanwhile
I’d like to throw out there, that I’m interested in doing
some vocal work for anyone looking and am looking for the
right musicians to form or join up with for some jamming.
I’m
still working with Marcus, and Rob and will be shooting for
a late 07 release. I will be posting songs at
www.myspace.com/seanmhuguenin
for
you to listen to.
Also, Robert Haspels,(formally of
Shatterbone) and I have discussed doing a joint efforts
project, which will consist of 20 songs written by Rob and I
to be released sometime in early 08.
I’m
going to have a very busy year musically and look forward to
it.
I will be doing three music
projects, all of different genre and am excited about it.
I’ve
written 16 songs for the new CD, mostly of Euro Metal Genre
but not sure if I will have all of them make the cut. I may
put it out for your votes on the top 12 or I may get greedy
and put them all on there, we'll see.
The “official” name of the Cd
will be “Where From Here”
I’ve
also just signed a Contract with
www.burnlounge.com
to have my music available for downloads.
Now you can either go there to
load songs as individual or the whole Cd without needing to
purchase it and take up space.
I will
keep you posted as progression happens.
Be safe and see you all soon.
Guest
of Styx!!
I would
like to thank again, Tommy, Lawrence, JY, Ricky, Todd, Keith
Marks their Road Manager, and last but not least a friend
who had a lot to do with this meeting Colin Keefe of MS Funk
and a good friend Joye.
You can
see a picture of the Flag Presentation on my “Pics”
page under Friends.
"Picks
of July show are posted in the
Pictures
section and you can view more at
www.morethanthisband.com"
It was
a great pleasure and a load of fun jamming with my former
band More>Than>This July 3rd and what a Patriotic
Crowd to be found living in Chariton
Iowa.
The rain held out for the
band and my performance with the band. To all of you who
came out I thank you for your support and warm welcome.
To
Marcus, Doug, Gary and Dave, Thank you and may we do it
again sometime.
NOTE:..If you already got to this site using

then great, otherwise, for the time being
www.allgonewild.com will redirect
to here till expires.
2003 release ‘All Gone Wild available on this site for $5.00
a copy till the next CD comes out.
Get’m while the supplies last.
I’ve written 16 songs for the new CD, but not sure if I will
have all of them make the cut. I may put it out for your
votes on the top 12 or I may get greedy and put them all on
there, we'll see.
The CD
will be of metal genre and the lyrics will be of the
experiences and other things I've thought of while deployed.
I can't wait to start laying the tracks down. This will more
than likely be my last CD and a special one for me. This
will mark the end of a wonderful journey of playing music
for everyone and being in bands to moving on to the dreams
and realities of my future with my family. I will always
write music, it's in my blood, but the lifestyle of a Rock n
Roller is a closed chapter in my life. I will keep you
updated as progress goes.
I've also been asked by my friend Robert Haspels to help him
on his planned CD when he returns and I will let you all
know the progress of that as well.
To Mike and Linda of Linda's Karaoke,
www.lindascarraoke.com for their
great support and promotion of my CD "All Gone Wild". and
Matt, Donna and Heather, You guys are great friends and hope
I see you again someday.
Thanks for the fun times.
As you all know I wrote a song entitled Together (United We
Stand) as an anthem for all those that are protecting and
defending this great country either here or there. I ask
that you all click the link and listen to the song in
support of the Troops.
Keep Rockin, and God Bless.
A special thanks to
Doug Kirkpatrick, the man
behind this website.
Peace;
Sean
